From this point on, Note fans in Singapore can expect things to come in fast and furious. Earlier, I highlighted Samsung's exclusive preview event for Galaxy Note 2 fans that will be held Thursday, October 18. The location has so far not been disclosed. If you have sent them your interest in attending the event, they say we will know it by Monday, October 15, if we are going to get the preview invitation.

Now it is official that SingTel has opened up registration for interest in Galaxy Note II. Sign up here if you are a Singtel subscriber or if you are thinking of ditching your current telco operator. Singtel is dangling another carrot to lure you to sign on for this device and get a new contract: $202 worth of Galaxy Note II accessories if you are one of the lucky ones to successfully purchase the handset on its launch day.
At the time of this writing, I have not seen nor heard any words from M1 and Starhub about their plan on the Galaxy Note 2. As soon as I have them, I'll update everyone. Whatever the case, whether it is Singtel, M1 or Starhub, the launch date will not be earlier than October 18 (otherwise Samsung will not call their event a preview event). I see October 19 as highly likely date that fans in Singapore to get the new device. Stay tuned!
